I created The Pay At Home Parent in February of 2018 to help you be a successful home-based business owner, blogger or side hustler. As a wife, mom and frugal homemaker, I still make a full-time income on a part-time work schedule and I know that you can too!

You’ve probably heard the endless hype of paid surveys by now. With promises of high payouts spouted left and right, it must be a great way to earn some extra cash, right?
Well, not exactly. These online survey sites do payout hundreds of thousands of dollars per month around the globe. But not typically huge amounts to a single person.
Paid surveys will never replace your day job. But that doesn’t mean you can’t make some extra cash with them. It just means that taking these paid surveys at home are more like fun time killers that have a nice little payout in the end, not job replacements.
That said, there are definitely a few legitimate paid online surveys that are worth signing up for. I’m going to share my favorites with you today.
The trick when signing up for paid survey sites is to sign up for more than one company so that you always have a survey to work on in your spare time.
Now that you understand that paid surveys aren’t going to make you rich, let’s talk about the highest paying online surveys and exactly how much money you can earn from them.
Best Paid Survey Sites
If you don’t feel like reading all the details, these are the top four survey sites I recommend signing up with today. It’s easy to signup and set up a profile, and by doing so, you’ll even earn some bonus cash.
Go ahead and get started:
- InboxDollars ($5 signup bonus)
- Swagbucks ($10 signup bonus)
- Survey Junkie
- Nielsen Computer & Mobile Panel
5 Online Surveys That Pay Cash
InboxDollars has been around since the year 2000 and is one of the highest rated paid survey sites today.
It’s easy to earn cash daily a few different ways when you sign up with InboxDollars. Not only can you take paid surveys at home, but you can also get paid to search the web, play games and sign up for various free offers that you already recognize and trust.
InboxDollars’ payout threshold is $30 and they give various ePayment options (like a prepaid Visa card) or a physical check mailed to your home.
I highly recommend you grab InboxDollars’ $5 signup bonus and working on their easy profile setup steps to earn an additional $1. Take a few surveys, peruse through their paid offers and play some paid games to build your stash of cash to your first $30 payout quickly!
2. Swagbucks Surveys
Swagbucks is another paid surveys site that you’ve probably heard about due to its popularity.
Similar to InboxDollars, there are multiple opportunities to earn points, called SB, toward cash payout or gift cards. Similar to Ebates, Swagbucks lets you earn cash back just for shopping online at your favorite stores. You can also earn from taking free paid surveys, watching videos and surfing free offers.
The payment threshold for PayPal cash is $25, but you also choose to cash out with an Amazon gift card for as low as $3. That pretty much guarantees that you can cash out at any time without worrying about reaching a high minimum first.
Swagbucks offers a generous $10 signup bonus that you can grab today. Make sure to set up your profile and scope around the platform to get your bonus and start earning extra cash from taking paid surveys today!
3. Survey Junkie Free Paid Surveys
Survey Junkie will pay you to participate in surveys as they become available. Unlike the other paid online survey sites, Survey Junkie focuses solely on serving you paid surveys.
Survey Junkie has a generously low payment threshold of $10 and you can request PayPal cash, a bank transfer or e-Giftcards once you’ve reached the minimum.
Survey Junkie credits you 155 points upon signing up and setting up your profile which equates to an easy $1.50. From there, you can start taking paid surveys right away to start earning toward your first $10 payout.
4. Nielsen Computer & Mobile Panel
Nielsen is a legitimate company that has been combing through anonymous market data for more than 90 years (yes, even before the Internet). While it’s not your typical survey company, you can earn money just by installing the Nielsen Computer and Mobile Panel on your devices.
Over time, the company rewards you just for using the Internet normally. It’s easy extra money in your pocket! Plus, you earn entries into sweepstakes and there are additional loyalty rewards for those who stick around longer.
PanelPlace is a little bit different from the first four survey sites, and it is not my first recommendation (hence the reason it’s #5).
Basically, PanelPlace acts as the “middleman” between you and various trusted survey sites to help you quickly find surveys. PanelPlace does not actually serve you the paid surveys but instead directs you to other survey sites all in one place.
The reason I recommend PanelPlace is for those who would like a steady stream of paid surveys funneled into one place. It’s also free to join, so you won’t be swindled into paying to join, only to be sent to other survey sites that you could have joined for free.
There is no signup bonus for joining PanelPlace, but one of their perks is that it’s free to join. Give it a try if you want to keep the paid surveys flowing!
And there you have it! Those are my 5 paid survey site recommendations that you can signup with and start earning today.
I will list more paid survey sites below so that you can continue to research your income potential with them. My 5 favorites are not the highest paying online surveys. In fact, you’ll want to proceed carefully so that you’re not giving up the opportunity to earn good money in exchange for pennies. Not all surveys pay well, so just be sure to value your time wisely as you choose paid surveys from the lists to complete.
Even More Surveys For Money
Here are a few more sites that allow you to take surveys for money. I have not signed up with or tested all of these paid surveys because there are far more to keep up with than one person can handle!
If you do wish to signup with all of them, I recommend opening a separate email account so that your personal email is not inundated with paid survey suggestions. Have fun and go ahead and make some extra cash!
These paid surveys are not listed in order based on recommendation or value.
Go ahead and research any and all of these paid surveys to see if they are a good fit for you! I don’t think you’ll need to go very far to find a few that allow you to cash out your free time.
I recommend starting with the first 5 survey sites listed and then decide if you need more. What are you waiting for?! Let me know how many paid surveys you’ve tried so far!
